OLIVER COUNTY COMMISSION PROCEEDINGS were called to order at 8:50 am with all members present.
Dave Berger moved and Rob Schmidt seconded the motion to approve BB Yardworks to repair and replace the sprinkler system for and estimate of $10900. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Discussion was held with Allete/Bison Wind addressing issues with the damaged wind turbines in the Bison Wind project in Oliver County.
The County ordinance requires 24 hours-notice from the time of event/incident to the County Emergency Manager. The current employees of Allete were not aware of that requirement.
Dave Berger, Commissioner, requested updates be given to the County at minimum, once a year and for a solution to the recent issues to be brought to the County.
Meeting was adjourned at 9:21 am.
The next meeting of the Oliver County Commission will be at 1:00 PM, September 11th, 2025 at the Oliver County Courthouse meeting room.
