OLIVER COUNTY PLANNING & ZONING Commission was called to order at 7:00 PM. Members present were Jayar Kindsvogel, Wyman Scheetz, Darren Klingenstein, Lonnie Henke, Ray Schmidt, Corey Hintz, John Wicklund (Land Use Administrator) and Jaden Schmidt (Secretary).
Guests present were Char Boehm, Ryan Zachmeier, Dan Bueligen, and Keith Kessler.
Minutes of the January 26th, 2023 meeting were read. Wyman Scheetz moved and Ray Schmidt seconded the motion to approve the minutes. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Dan Bueligen has applied for a conditional use permit for a non-farm residence to construct a new non-farm residence. Lonnie Henke moved and Corey Hintz seconded the motion to approve the conditional use permit for Dan Bueligen. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Jeff and Char Boehm have applied for a conditional use permit to build a new home on agricultural land. Wyman Scheetz moved and Ray Schmidt seconded the motion to approve the conditional use permit for Jeff and Char Boehm. All in favor; none opposed; motion carried.
Ryan Zachmeier has applied for a conditional use permit to build a new home on agricultural land. Ray Schmidt moved and Lonnie Henke seconded the motion to approve the conditional use permit. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Ryan Schmidt has applied for a conditional use permit to build a new home on agricultural land. Ryan was reached by phone for this hearing and was reminded that there needs to be a 200 foot setback from the centerline of the road. Wyman Scheetz moved and Corey Hintz seconded the motion to approve the conditional use permit. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Keith Kessler spoke to the board on the possibility of updating the wind tower portion of the Oliver County Ordinance, specifically addressing setbacks. The board informed Keith Kessler to submit a proposed amendment following the proper procedure outlined in the Planning & Zoning Ordinance and come to the next meeting with that written submission.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:45 pm.
The next meeting of the Oliver County Planning and Zoning Board is scheduled for June 29th at 7:00 PM at the Oliver County Courthouse meeting room.
