OLIVER COUNTY PLANNING & ZONING Commission was called to order at 7:00 pm.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Roll Call was held. Members present were Cassie Smith, Bill Breimeier, Matt Wilkins, Linda Nelson, Jody Reinke, and Gary Price. Others present were Jaden Schmidt, Secretary/P&Z, Patty Koapke.
Jody Reinke moved and Cassie Smith seconded the motion to approve the agenda. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Bill Breimeier moved and Jody Reinke seconded the motion to approve the minutes of the October 30th meeting with correction. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Discussion was held on Solar Energy Facilities ordinances.
Discussion was held on Direct Air Capture ordinances.
Commissioner Dave Berger presented discussion on adjusting the permit fees for industrial projects from 1/10th of 1% of the cost of the project to 3%. Commissioner Berger also presented discussion on requiring a public meeting prior to any permitting or easements obtained from all industrial projects.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 pm.
The next meeting for the Oliver County Planning & Zoning Board will be December 18th, 2025 at 7:00 pm in the Oliver County Courthouse Meeting Room.
