APRIl 4, 2019 OLIVER COUNTY COMMISSION PROCEEDINGS were called to order at 8:00 A.M. by Vice - Chairperson Darrell Berger. Commissioner Blake Wilkens was present. Commissioner Lee Husfloen was absent.

Dave Berger, Center Community Club, discussed using the courthouse courtyard for the upcoming Old Settler’s Celebration, and paying the expenses for the Recognition and Remembrance Ceremony and the Old Settler’s Dinner. Blake Wilkens moved and Darrell Berger seconded the motion to approve the use of the courthouse courtyard and pay the expenses associated with the Recognition and Remembrance Ceremony and the Old Settler’s Dinner. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Dave Berger, Center Community Club, asked the county to approve the gaming site authorization for Square Butte Creek Golf Club. Blake Wilkens moved and Darrell Berger seconded the motion to approve the gaming site authorization for Square Butte Golf Club. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.

Along or Crossing County Road 22nd St SW in the NE ¼ of Section 29-142-81 (Exchange: Center WO:2018-496-001) All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
John Wicklund, Land Use Administrator, presented Conditional Use Permit #892 and Building Permit #893 for Patrick Bair for a Pre-built Cabin Home in the NE ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 18-142-81, and Building Permit #895 for Dwaine Helmers for a 11’ x 14’ Entry Addition to the Home in Section 28-143-83. Blake Wilkens moved and Darrell Berger seconded the motion to approve Conditional Use Permit #892 and Building Permits #893 and #895. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Thomas Klabunde, Moore Engineering, discussed advertising for engineering services for our summer road project.
Kyle Miller, Road Superintendent, discussed the request for gravel by Bruce VanOosting on 13th Street from his driveway East to Hensler Road, the derby on May 18th, purchasing cutting edges that are on sale now for ½ off, roads and culverts, particularly the culvert situation by land Gary Doll farms. Blake Wilkens also mentioned Joe Huntimer’s road could use some gravel.
Scott Harr, Twin City Roofing LLC, was in attendance to look at the roof and give us a quote by next month’s meeting.

The next meeting of the Oliver County Commission will be at 8:00 A.M., Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Oliver County Courthouse meeting room.
