June 3, 2021 Tax Equalization

JUNE 3, 2021 OLIVER COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION convened at 11:07 A.M.

Patricia Koapke, Tax Director, Lee Husfloen, Chairman, Darrell Berger, Vice-Chairman, Blake Wilkens, Commissioner, Linda Nelson, Deputy Auditor, John Mahoney, State’s Attorney, and Kyle Miller, Road Superintendent were in attendance.

     Patricia Koapke, Tax Director, stated she has her Class I Assessor’s Certificate now.

     Patricia Koapke, Tax Director, stated notices of increases from 2020 to 2021 were $2,274,941 which included the City of Center increases.

     There was no increase to Residential or Commercial.  The Ag increase from $402.08 to $408.47 was approved at the February 4, 2021 Commission Meeting and has all been updated.

     The overall net taxable values for Oliver County had a total loss of $66,713.00.  2020 Net Taxable was $14,991,710 and the 2021 Net Taxable was $14,924,997.

     Darrell Berger moved and Blake Wilkens seconded the motion to approve the 2021 assessments as presented.  All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.

     The meeting was adjourned at 11:15 A.M.
