OLIVER COUNTY COMMISSION PROCEEDINGS were called to order at 8:00 AM with all members present.
Blake Wilkens moved and Darrell Berger seconded the motion to approve the agenda. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.

Discussion was held on the Farm to Market Road. Rebecca Doepke had called about traffic issues and has asked the commissioners and sheriff’s department to look into solutions to slow traffic down on that road.
Jaden Schmidt, Auditor, discussed the budget analysis/recap.
Laura Huber discussed getting a new printer in the Treasurer’s office as the lease with Marco ends in December. Darrell Berger moved and Blake Wilkens seconded the motion to lease a new printer with Liberty. All in favor; none opposed; motion carried.
Carmen Reed presented the commission with a proposal for a Stage I Burn Ban. Darrell Berger moved and Blake Wilkens seconded to keep the burn ban in place effective until the Commission decides to removed it. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Dave Berger called the Oliver County Park Board meeting to order at 8:40 am. All members present. There is $1500 left in the budget and Dave is asking that money be donated to the Historical Society to replace/repair the chain link fence. Darrell Berger moved and Lee Husfloen seconded the motion to donate $1500 to the Oliver County Historical Society. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
Dusty Backer presented to the commission on CWD (chronic waste disease) in deer and the Game & Fish role.
Discussion was held on road issue with Kyle Miller. Resident Mikael Schmidt was present to discuss the road by the golf course. Kyle Miller also requested that the county purchases a computer to diagnose problems with shop vehicles.
Kyle Miller presented to the commission that possible incentive of partially reimbursing anyone that may become employed with the county for taking the courses to get their CDL. The commissioners will consider, but no decision was made.
Jim Jackson is working on the bridge project.
Patty Koapke, Tax Director, discussed abatements for Mikael Schmidt. Darrell Berger moved and Blake Wilkens seconded to approve the abatements. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
John Wicklund, Land Use Administrator, presented Building Permit #988 for Kyle Gradin for a 20X30 building and 1 garage in NW ¼ of Section 23-144-82. Blake Wilkens moved and Darrell Berger seconded the motion to approve the Building Permit #988. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
John Wicklund, Land Use Administrator, presented Building Permit #989 for Capital Tower & Communications for a BNSF Railroad 100’ Radio Tower in NE ¼ of Section 30-143-81. Blake Wilkens moved and Darrell Berger seconded the motion to approve the Building Permit #991. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
John Wicklund, Land Use Administrator, presented Building Permit #990 for Verizon Wireless to upgrade antenna and ancillary equipment on existing tower in SE ¼ and NE ½ of Section 22-142-84. Blake Wilkens moved and Darrell Berger seconded the motion to approve the Building Permit #990. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
John Wicklund, Land Use Administrator, presented Building Permit #992 for Mike Huber for 16 x 16 deck in SE ¼ Section 14-142-86. Blake Wilkens moved and Darrell Berger seconded the motion to approve the Building Permit #992. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
John Wicklund, Land Use Administrator, presented a Temporary Use Permit #991 for Enel Green Power North America for a Met Tower (monitoring tower) in N ½ and N ½ of Section 24-141-85. Darrell Berger moved and Blake Wilkens seconded the motion to approve the Temporary Use Permit #991. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
John Wicklund also presented the commission with an e-mail correspondence with a solar company.
