The NDACo annual conference was discussed. All three commissioners will be attending the conference. Judith Hintz, Auditor will get them registered and book rooms for them.
Darrell Berger moved and Blake Wilkens seconded the motion to approve a credit card for the courthouse employees to use for ordering supplies with an amount of $1,000.00 and the card will be in the name of Laura Huber, Treasurer. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Erin Ourada, Custer Health, reviewed her 2023 budget and mentioned they have received a federal grant to change the name of Custer Health in the future.
Brent Ekstrom, Lewis & Clark Development Group, discussed how they help provide programs and loans to support businesses, local governments, and individuals in expanding affordable housing opportunities and advancing economic and community development across North Dakota.
Kurt Swenson, Resident, discussed the county considering a zoning ordinance for sequestration projects.
Joey Borracci, Turnkey Logistics, Representing Summit Carbon Solutions, gave a project update.
Brent Niese, Project Manager, Summit Carbon Solutions, spoke about the benefits of not using casing, and discussed using thicker piping instead of casing.
Larry Orgaard, Resident, ask for gravel on a road by his residence.
Kyle Miller, Road Superintendent, discussed trucks and gravel.
Carmen Reed, EM/911 Coordinator, reviewed her 2023 budget and talked about the Joint Powers Agreement with Mercer County expiring on February 28, 2023.

Patricia Koapke, Tax Director, reviewed her budgets for 2023.
Mickie McNulty-Eide, Recorder/Clerk of Court reviewed her budgets for 2023. She also reviewed the Custodian budget for 2023.
Laura Huber, Treasurer, reviewed her budget for 2023.
David Hilliard, Sheriff, reviewed his budgets for 2023.

Blake Wilkens moved and Darrell Berger seconded the motion to approve the mileage rate increase from 58.5 cents to 62.5 cents effective July 1, 2022. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Judith Hintz, Auditor, presented a handout for the 10 year plan for Oliver I, II, III and also the 10 year plan for the Flat Rock Wind Project.
Judith Hintz, Auditor, presented a letter received from West River Transit requesting a match amount of $11,944.52 for a 2022 Dodge Entervan for the Center public transportation service. John Mahoney, States Attorney, will talk to West River Transit about this.
Darrell Berger moved and Blake Wilkens seconded the motion to approve a local permit upon John Mahoney’s approval for the Oliver County Fair Association for a Calcutta raffle for the period beginning at 12:00 P.M. on August 12, 2022 and ending at 1:00 A.M on the 13th day of August, 2022 All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 12:15 P.M.
The next meeting of the Oliver County Commission will be at 8:00 A.M. Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the Oliver County Courthouse meeting room.
