AUGUST 6, 2020 OLIVER COUNTY COMMISSION PROCEEDINGS were called to order at 8:00 A.M. with Lee Husfloen and Darrell Berger present. Blake Wilkens was absent.
Darrell Berger moved and Lee Husfloen seconded the motion to approve the agenda. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.

Lee Husfloen moved and Darrell Berger seconded the motion to approve the Highway Utility Permit for WRT in the Center Exchange, WO: 2020-610-002, in Section 30-143-81 from 16th St SW to 103 2nd Ave N. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
The General Election was discussed along with the extra safety measures being taken for the workers and the public.
Kyle Miller, Road Superintendent, discussed roads, gravel, and bus signage on 23rd Street SW.
Patricia Koapke, Tax Director, reviewed the city assessing costs.
Judith Hintz, Auditor, presented Building Permit #941 for Kate Kolden to rebuild a deck in the SE ¼ of Section 14-142-84. Darrell Berger moved and Lee Husfloen seconded the motion to approve Building Permit #941. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Thomas VonBische, Nextera, discussed the Red Butte Wind project.
Erin Ourada, Custer Health, reviewed her budget.
Lee Husfloen moved and Darrell Berger seconded the motion to approve the Federal Awards Certification stating our county received Mineral Leasing Funds and Late Disbursement Interest and the county is using these funds for our road department and sheriff department policing expenses.
Judith Hintz, Auditor, presented a handout from the U.S. Department of the Interior and a Ten Year Plan for Oliver I and Oliver II.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:58 A.M.
The next meeting of the Oliver County Commission will be at 8:00 A.M., Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the Oliver County Courthouse meeting room.
