OLIVER COUNTY COMMISSION PROCEEDINGS were called to order at 2:30 PM with all members present.
Discussion was held on the current and new county retirement plans. Based on NDPERS rules, the county must contribute the same for any plan/plan holder, meaning that if the county agrees to “pickup” the full amount, it must “pickup” the full amount for the Main/Main 2020 as well as the DC 2025.
Rob Schmidt moved and Dave Berger seconded the motion to rescind the motion from the June 4th meeting regarding NDPERS plans. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Dave Berger moved and Rob Schmidt seconded the motion to contribute both the employee and employer contributions of the Main/Main 2020 retirement plan for a total of 16.26% and to contribute the employee and employer contributions of the DC 2025 for a total of up to 15.26%. All in favor, none opposed; motion carried.
Meeting was adjourned at 2:40 pm.
The next meeting of the Oliver County Commission will be at 1:00 PM, June 10th, 2025 at the Oliver County Courthouse meeting room.
